DESCRIPTION: Stephen Hasham, Charlestown, New Hampshire, 2 (Two) tower clock motion works, wooden frames, brass gears and steel bridge along with 2 (Two) wooden and beveled geared linkage pieces.
CONDITION: one motion works has the minute hand gear absent with some rust and the other is complete and covered with some bird droppings. The linkage pieces retain their original black paint. Please see the article "The Amazing Stephen Hasham" by Frederick Shelley and Donn Lathrop in NAWCC Bulletin of December 1993, #293. Stephen Hasham was an eccentric and inventor, born in 1764, who lived until 100 years old. These items are from the collection of David Proper of Keene, NH a renowned clock collector, historian and author.
